After the news emerged last week that Tottenham are interested in signing Sunderland striker Josh Maja, we discussed how he would fare with The Lilywhites.
The 20-year-old has scored 14 goals for The Black Cats in League One so far this season, and has turned the heads of a number of Premier League sides. However, with Tottenham desperate to share the workload for Harry Kane, Maja could prove to be a very useful deputy indeed for the England captain.
With that in mind, we asked whether Maja is good enough to support Kane at Tottenham, and these were the results:
The fans are obviously divided with this one, although a slight majority- 56%- believe that Maja is good enough to support Kane for Spurs. The 20-year-old shows a lot of promise, but it would then be a huge ask to depend upon such a young striker in a team that are competing for the Premier League.
