Tottenham fans will be taking a while to get over their painful defeat from yesterday evening, however, they’ll be taking the positives from the defeat. The main silver-lining was the performance of Danny Rose, who was far and away the best player on the pitch for Tottenham after replacing the injured Ben Davies late in the first-half.
As inconsolable and worst I’ve felt years in terms of having to try and stomach the defeat.
Just want to say what a heroic performance that was from Danny Rose, probably one of the best he’s ever played for Spurs.

Yesterday was one of Danny Rose’s greatest ever performances in a Tottenham shirt. After coming into the game with his side 1-0 down and being unable to get a feel for the pace until the second half, by which time the deficit had been doubled, the Englishman stepped up tremendously. Whilst Emmerson was sublime down Chelsea’s left-flank, Rose was equally good for the Lilywhites, and he got them back in the game when he supplied the assist for Fernando Llorente’s goal.
Rose’s efforts were incredible after coming off the bench. He deserved to be on the winning side, and whilst there have been issues in the past surrounding the 28-year-old off the pitch, they were all a distant memory as he bombed down the left-hand side for the Lilywhites at Stamford Bridge. If Rose can make that performance his benchmark, then he’ll quickly get back to being one of the first names on the teamsheet, much like he was back in the 2015/16 season before he suffered injury.

The last couple of games, he has played like the old Danny Rose. On this form he for me, is easily the best LB in the prem.

So good to have Danny back to where he was 2 seasons ago. Pace, aggression, end product.

The Lilywhites were in awe of Danny Rose last night and will be desperate for him to build on that display and stay at his very best.
