With Tottenham facing Chelsea on Saturday in the later kick-off time of 17:30, a lot of Spurs fans have been tracking the progress of their international stars, trying to work out who will and won’t play. Unfortunately, it looked like their Argentine trio of Erik Lamela, Juan Foyth and Paulo Gazzaniga would miss out, but after Foyth’s Instagram post, the fans believe there’s a chance.
BREAKING | Tottenham Hotspur central defender Juan Foyth has already arrived back in London ahead of schedule.
The defender was expected to return back in the U.K. on Friday according to reports but however his earlier arrival could see him in the squad for Chelsea.#THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/Pv3nl69KbI

The Argentine national squad faced a double-header international clash against Mexico over the break and recorded back-to-back 2-0 wins, with the Tottenham trio starring throughout. However, with the second of those games coming at midnight on Wednesday (English standard time) Spurs’ La Albiceleste stars weren’t expected to return to the club until Friday, which would be too late to then throw them in against Chelsea 24 hours later.
It was then picked up that Juan Foyth was travelling back to London early, which has led a lot of Tottenham fans to question whether Lamela would also be coming back ahead of schedule. The Lilywhites are desperate for Lamela to feature against The Blues and they all believe that they can come away with all three points against Maurizio Sarri’s side, especially if they have the tough-tackling, passionate Lamela available to them.
