Tottenham will face PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League later today and yesterday when they tweeted out the latest team news, fans were just hoping Dele Alli would be available for Monday night’s clash with Manchester City.

Dele Alli suffered a hamstring injury back in September whilst on international duty with England, however, it seems he returned too quickly from that initial setback and then during the club’s Carabao Cup third round win over Watford at Stadium MK, the young England man tweaked his hamstring and is now on the road to fully recovering from the issue. Tonight’s game is a few days too soon for Alli, but Monday could be just in time.
The Lilywhites have been going through something of an injury crisis as of late and now that Christian Eriksen, Serge Aurier, Mousa Dembele and Hugo Lloris are all back it could spell good times for Mauricio Pochettino and co. Only Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen join Alli on the injury list and the fans will be hoping that their side ca get a big win in the Champions League later today and then have Dele back to inspire them to victory in the Premier League come Monday night against the champions.

If Alli makes t back in time for Manchester City then the Lilywhites chances will be boosted significantly, although for now, it’s a waiting game for the fans.
