Tottenham Hotspur fans had enough misery watching their side fall to a 1-0 home defeat to Manchester United yesterday. The Lilywhites were the better side for 90 minutes, yet couldn’t beat David De Gea in the United goal. However, to make things worse, they lost both Moussa Sissoko and Harry Kane to injury during the clash.

Sissoko’s injury was one that left the entire Wembley crowd gasping. Kieran Trippier looked to play the Frenchman into the right-channel, however, as he burst into a sprint for the ball, he was seen pulling up and going down, with his hamstring the obvious issue. After a few minutes trying to continue, he eventually succumbed to the pain and was replaced by Erik Lamela in the first-half.
If Sissoko’s setback wasn’t bad enough, Mauricio Pochettino was then given even more to think about when Harry Kane was on the end of a very heavy challenge in the closing minutes of the game which left him with swelling in his ankle. Kane is one man who the club simply cannot afford to lose, and if he is out injured then the next few weeks could prove to be extremely tense ones for the Lilywhites.

Hoping Kane and Sissoko injuries aren't too serious and wish them both a speedy recovery.
Mercifully the transfer window is open so the oppurtunity to add some depth to the squad is there

Tottenham fans will be desperate for Daniel Levy to splash the cash before the transfer window closes now, and will be desperately hoping that both Kane and Sissoko’s injuries are only minor.
