Where to start? Last night provided us with one of the best Champions League clashes of recent memory, and there truly wasn’t a more fitting way for it to be won than a goal off of Fernando Llorente’s thigh from a corner kick before a late disallowed Manchester City winner. It’s the Llorente goal, though, that the fans are here to celebrate.

Tottenham Hotspur will now be making their debut in the Champions League semi-finals, and you can’t take that away from their incredible fans. Llorente has etched his name into Tottenham’s history and whatever happens now for the Spaniard in his career at the club, he’ll be heralded for what he did yesterday evening, and rightly so too.
The next stage will see the Lilywhites face Ajax home and away with just 180 minutes between both sides and a showpiece Champions League final in Madrid. For that tie with the Dutch side, Harry Kane will likely still be out and Heung-Min Son is suspended for the first leg, meaning that Llorente will more than likely be given a start in the next game in the tournament, and boy does he deserve it.
