Tottenham: Fans slam Son Heung-min’s performance vs Olympiakos

Loads of Tottenham fans have been running the rule over their win against Olympiakos, with plenty of supporters unhappy with the performance of Son Heung-min.

You’d be hard pushed to find a more likable player than Son, who has endeared himself to the fans in north London with his infectious smile and incredible talent, while he also had quite the relationship with Mauricio Pochettino if his Instagram post after the Argentine’s sacking is anything to go by.

He was sensational against West Ham on Saturday and was even crowned man of the match, but some fans think he had perhaps his worst half of football since joining the club in the win over Olympiakos.

Indeed, the 27 year-old scored one of the lowest match ratings on Sofascore, registering just 6.4 out of 10 after a really sloppy first-half display.

Like the rest of Jose Mourinho’s side, he did improve after the interval, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wondering what went wrong in that first 45 minutes.
