Tottenham Hotspur: Club send candid message to Raul Jimenez after serious injury

Writing on Twitter, Spurs have sent a candid ‘get well soon’ message to Wolves star Raul Jimenez after he suffered a skull fracture during his side’s 2-1 win over Arsenal last week – with the Midlands club confirming recovery has now begun after an operation.
Jimenez clashed heads with defender David Luiz in what was a brutal collision, with the Mexico international having to be stretchered off and given oxygen due to the serious impact.

The severity of his injury has now been confirmed as Wolves released a statement saying he is in recovery from an operation on a fractured skill.
Tottenham, as a kind gesture, sent over a candid message on Twitter towards the ‘special‘ star – wishing a ‘speedy recovery’ and to ‘get well soon’.

Given Jimenez’s huge impact in the Premier League since he was signed at Wolves, form that even prompted links to Spurs over the summer transfer window, the club are right to wish him all the best after what was a serious collision.
Spurs’ own injury woes come in the form of a muscular problem for Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela, who is still attempting to get fit in time for the north London derby.
As the Mexican forward continues his recovery after a completed procedure, football supporters can take comfort in the fact he is ‘comfortable’ and on the mend.
