Tottenham Hotspur fans at the Transfer Tavern bar are excitedly discussing the latest transfer rumours concerning their club, particularly pleased about one potential recruit.
The Daily Express state Mauricio Pochettino’s side are keen to add Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie to their squad, in a move that could subsequently allowed England international Andros Townsend to leave on-loan.
Tottenham could land the Congolese winger in the New Year, with Alan Pardew previously making a tongue-in-cheek comment where he said he would sell for the right price.
“I’ll sell Yannick, if someone wants to give me £40m to £60m, somewhere in there, that would be good.”
That price-tag isn’t likely to appeal to Tottenham though, who will eye a deal for a smaller price, but must be wary of supposed interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool; though their targets may have changed under new boss Jurgen Klopp.
Fans of the Lilywhites in the bar are extremely excited by this possible addition, stating Bolasie’s signature could provide a huge boost to their quest for Champions League football.
