Writing on Twitter, sharing news from fellow journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft, reliable source Fabrizio Romano has dropped a five-word message for Spurs fans in the form a Marcel Sabitzer update – going on to confirm that ‘Tottenham are following Sabitzer situation‘.
Sabitzer, labelled the ‘dream‘ signing for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham, has been at the centre of much speculation over this past week – with reports even claiming that Daniel Levy has already instigated talks ahead of a January move.
Should Spurs sign Marcel Sabitzer in January?
No, need a centre-back
Sabitzer interest revealed
The RB Leipzig star is somebody who would perfectly suit Mourinho and Spurs according to the press, with his ability to play in a variety of roles across the midfield arguably being his most enticing quality.
This comes after the Bundesliga club also confirmed Tottenham’s interest recently, with Romano now doing the same on Twitter whilst stating that the Lilywhites are indeed following his situation and keeping close tabs.
As January looms, Sabitzer has been touted as a top target alongside the likes of Milan Skriniar, with a creative midfield dynamo and a towering centre-half reportedly at the top of Mourinho’s wish list.
