Reds fans here in the Tavern are growing fond of the introduction of youth into their first-team ranks, after positive results within the side.
Liverpool are thrilled with their recent run of form, having picked up 17 of a possible 21 points in the Premier League, that dates back to late October.
Dominic Solanke has been one product included within Jurgen Klopp’s youth regime, after making 13 appearances for the club in arguably the Premier League’s most dangerous attack, which just goes to show the trust that the German has in the striker’s ability.
Who can blame him after securing Player of the Tournament and the Golden Boot on his way to lifting the U20 World Cup with the England national side in South Korea this year, only to be shortly followed by his first inclusion into the England first-team, for a friendly against Brazil.
Having previously grabbed the attention of former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp, it looks like he’s not the only one with high hopes for the youngster, as Liverpool’s Twitter account took to post Klopp’s thoughts on Solanke after his Merseyside Derby performance.
