Liverpool and Everton will meet in the 232nd Merseyside Derby on Sunday at Anfield as both sides will look to earn the bragging rights.
The Reds are currently a footballing powerhouse in the Premier League, with Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sitting second behind Manchester City.
However, Everton have started to reaffirm their place in the top-half of the division with some solid performances under Marco Silva’s guidance.
Both Merseyside outfits have great attacking options, with Sadio Mane one of Anfield’s stand outs, although Richarlison has been a shining light for the Toffees this season since joining from Watford in a big-money move.
But, who is more likely to make a difference when the two sides meet on Sunday?
Sadio Mane

Mane joined Liverpool back in the summer of 2016 when he became one of the many men to have joined from Southampton.
The Senegal international has been a key member of Klopp’s side and is almost considered to be one of the first names on his teamsheet.
The winger has helped to form one of the deadliest attacking trios, alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino and has contributed more than his fair share with goals and assists.
The 26-year-old has six goals to his name in the Premier League so far, although his movement off the ball is generally highlighted when he plays as he gives Liverpool additional options.
Mane has become so important to the way that the Reds play, he was also rewarded with a bumper new contract just earlier this month.

Richarlison

As mentioned, Richarlison completed a move to Goodison Park in the last transfer window, however, he has already become an influential figure for Everton.
The Brazil international, who has earned recognition for his performances by his country, has scored six goals and provided one assist since reuniting with Silva.
At just 21-years-old, he has certainly made a name for himself within the Premier League and Everton will be hoping he can lead them back to European competition.
It is obvious how much the Toffees rely on Richarlison, having utilised him as a striker in a number of their matches so far this season as well.

The Verdict:

Both players are hugely important to their teams, however, a player of Mane’s ability would be the man you would want in a game with the magnitude of the Merseyside Derby.
Rated at £63million by Transfermarkt, the Senegal international is a real threat going forward and can change how a game is going with the sheer skill and ability he has.
There is no doubt that Richarlison is an asset for the Toffees and will likely continue to improve in the future, however, Mane wins this battle.
