‘Utter disgrace’, ‘Ban him’ - Liverpool fans demand club to take action against disgraced star

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were delighted to receive a boost to their top-four aspirations last night as Chelsea dropped points against Watford, but they were disappointed by the antics of Adam Lallana in Liverpool’s reserve team fixture.

Following their draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon, the Liverpool supporters turned their attention to Chelsea’s clash with Watford last night, and they were absolutely delighted to see The Hornets claim a 4-1 victory over The Blues at Vicarage Road. The evening result ensured that the race for the top-four is now tighter then ever as just two points separate Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham between 3rd and 5th place in the league.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will be hoping to take advantage of Chelsea’s slump in form in the weeks to come and solidify their place in the top-four. However, Monday night was not a completely successful night for Liverpool as their U23 side lost 1-0 to Tottenham U23s in a fixture which saw Liverpool end the game with 9 men.

Adam Lallana was one of the Liverpool players to be dismissed during proceedings for grabbing Spurs midfielder George Marsh by the head just moments after the pairing had competed for a header in midfield.

Lallana’s petulance was completely out of order, and unsurprisingly the Liverpool supporters have unleashed a tirade of criticism against the England international for embarrassing both himself and the club last night.
