‘Waiting for Conte’s call?’ - Fans react to latest seeming Everton blow

Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern are very confident they’ll qualify for Europe this season now as they outclassed West Brom at the weekend.

Indeed, the game at Goodison Park was being billed as key to both side’s chances of reaching the Europa League and only one side really turned up as the Blues won 3-0.

Certainly, then, they’ll be looking to get into Europe and build on that with good signings and keeping their best players but their chances of keeping Romelu Lukaku are still up in the air.

Indeed, after the game Lukaku appeared to suggest he wasn’t ready to sign a new deal with the club speaking to playsports via Kristof Terreur on Twitter:

Such news, then, has not been welcomed by our local Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern whilst Blues on Twitter have also had plenty to say – as well as seeing opposing fans wade in.
