Warm weather training can revitalize Liverpool for season finale

They might’ve been prematurely knocked out of the FA Cup yet again, but Liverpool are making good use of their empty gap in fixtures.

They don’t have a match until next Tuesday when they face Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League. This long gap means extra training, as Jurgen Klopp’s taken the team to Marbella for some warm weather training.

With the chilly weather in Liverpool, the players would be relieved to play in the sun once again in their short Spain tour. Marbella’s a sunny place right now, meaning Klopp can revitalize the energy of his players. Instead of having to train in Liverpool’s gloomy environment, the players can now have fun training in a more comfortable place.

The warm weather training means the players can warm-up their bodies faster and get rid of any little niggles caused by the cold English weather. The Reds can also use training methods not possible in a cold environment and maybe try a few different tactics to use in the upcoming matches.

If history points at anything, Liverpool’s warm weather training in around this period has been successful in the recent past. They also trained in Marbella last season in February, after which they displayed a boost in performance-level in the Premier League and Champions League, heading into the finals.

With the Reds in dire need of revitalizing themselves heading into an intense season finale, this warm-weather training can reignite their fire from earlier this season and help them prevail in the tricky upcoming matches.
