The Englishman hasn’t had a chance at all this season, but he certainly deserves one. Offering athleticism, dribbling and a real goal threat – there is no doubting the quality that he has.
Having burst onto the scene under Jose Mourinho, Loftus-Cheek has remained involved within the Blues’ first team squad ever sinbce.
Unfortunately for him, though, he hasn’t been given a chance to show his quality this year, especially given his lack of game time. Whenever he has played, though, he has done well – as he proved once again for England earlier this week.
Popping up with a couple of goals for his country, Loftus-Cheek put in a Man of the Match-worthy performance that will surely have left Antonio Conte purring.

With Chelsea struggling for midfield depth, Loftus-Cheek could be the perfect man to step in. He has an eye for a goal, but he is also solid defensively – and he could be unstoppable alongside N’Golo Kante.
