Fer’s rather clear foul on Gary Cahill went unnoticed as the home side fought back from a goal down to take the lead in a thrilling game in South Wales.
Though Diego Costa’s acrobatic equalizer salvaged at least something for the West London side, Cahill has been quite vocal in his reaction to Marriner’s decision.
In a remarkably honest post-match interview, the England international gave an emotionally charged chat about proceedings.

Lamenting the decision, the 30-year-old revealed he was comfortable in the game and felt the Dutchman’s foul has dearly cost the side in a title race.
Though Antonio Conte remains unbeaten since taking the reigns over the summer, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are setting the early pace in the Premier League title race.
