Just when the Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern thought things were going well, they’ve been reminded of what they could have in the form of Juan Cuadrado.
When he was signed by Jose Mourinho many by the bar reacted with envy as Chelsea looked to have signed another class player but, as is often the way with the Portuguese, the winger was inexplicably frozen out and he’s duly spent many a loan in Turin with Juventus.
But he hasn’t let this sense of being in flux bother him, in fact he’s been using it to show new boss Antonio Conte he should have kept him with an absolute stormer of a strike in the Champions League.
