The Red Devils enjoyed a prolific few months last year, with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba making the switch to Old Trafford following Jose Mourinho’s arrival.
Indeed, their season hasn’t quite gone to plan so far this year, and with a title challenge likely to be demanded next season – a few new signings will be vital, especially in the heart of the midfield.
One such player that is reportedly on Mourinho’s wish list is Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, with Man Utd seemingly keen.
However, a recent update provided by Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague has suggested that it is CHELSEA that are close to securing a deal for the midfielder, leaving the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern feeling disappointed.
