Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are crying out for major improvements to their squad this summer and they’ve started to get giddy following comments from a club legend.
Ex-Gunners winger Robert Pires has sensationally claimed he believes Kylian Mbappe will move to the North London giants from Monaco, although he has expressed his concerns as to how much the French starlet would cost.
Mbappe has caught the eye of Europe’s elite this season and is expected to attract some hefty bids this summer, with Arsenal having to fend off the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid for Mbappe’s signature.
Despite the array of top-class clubs eyeing Mbappe’s signature, Pires stated in an interview that he believes Arsenal will win the race for the teenager- but fans on social media are struggling to believe that would genuinely be the case.
Our landlord feels Mbappe would be a sensational signing for Arsenal and he would immediately fit into the Gunners system, although he’s also admitting a deal is unlikely.
