Well, it’s been quite a day for the punters in the Transfer Tavern.
The Chelsea supporters propping up our bar were treated to a bombshell this morning after reports overnight emerged that Diego Costa had revealed Antonio Conte no longer wants him at the club.
Soon after, that was followed up by a report from Sky Sports claiming Manchester United were ‘unlikely’ to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new deal, following his serious knee injury.
Two of the most talked about forwards in the league, this summer promises to be a hugely interesting one for both superstar marksmen.
In fact, following the news about Ibrahimovic, some fans have even taken to Twitter to suggest Costa would be a good REPLACEMENT for the Swede at Old Trafford this summer, as his Blues career seemingly comes to a close.
