The Hoops were a huge disappointment towards the start of the season but they’ve finally started finding their feet in recent times as Steve McClaren rallies his troops.
Indeed, the Championship club managed to bring in a couple of players towards the end of the summer and kept one of their star men, so it’s safe to say that Steve McClaren has a reasonable squad at his disposal. But, it’s all about whether the players can ensure the consistency that has gone missing so far this season.
Interestingly, the month of October may decide Queens Park Rangers’ fate as they have an outside chance of challenging for a play-off place, but things could also go horribly wrong at the same time.
With that in mind, here is the dream October for the Hoops…
NAKHI WELLS STARTS FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS

Nakhi Wells was sensational during his Football League days, but he struggled to adjust to Premier League football and now finds himself on loan at Queens Park Rangers.
The forward has struggled to find the back of the net since making the move to Loftus Road, but there’s no doubt that the Hoops could become a completely different side if he begins to find his feet.
So, McClaren will be desperate for the 28-year-old to start firing on all cylinders, with a play-off spot still in the offing if he replicates his Huddersfield Town and Bradford City form.
