It surely seemed to be only a matter of time before Timo Werner would be completing his move to Liverpool.
The Germany international has been linked with a switch to Anfield since last year (BILD via Metro), but he still remains at RB Leipzig. His form this season has done little to pour cold water on any rumours of an exit, either – he has managed 27 goals and 12 assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit.

The 24-year-old has even indicated in interviews that he would be interested in making the switch, but the latest report from German publication BILD throws up more questions than answers. They say that both Manchester United and Chelsea have made an approach, but the Reds are yet to have made a bid to sign him.
