As per The Express and Star, West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga on loan until the end of the season.
Baggies eye Tanganga
Tanganga is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League so far this campaign (Transfermarkt), and could therefore be allowed to leave the club on a temporary basis as he looks to receive more playing time.

As Sam Allardyce continues to rush towards the end of the window, the Baggies have shown an interest in the £7.2m-valued 21-year-old (Transfermarkt).
Versatile signing
Compared to Aston Villa legend Paul McGrath after impressing during Spurs’ 1-0 defeat to Liverpool last year by Tony Cascarino (talkSPORT), Tanganga can play both at full-back and at centre-back – versatility that Allardyce could put to good use.

The England U20 international will be thrown into a different atmosphere than the one he is used to at Tottenham as the Baggies battle against relegation. If he completes a move, Jose Mourinho will surely have an eye on him to see how he copes.
In other news, West Brom fans are delighted with this Mbaye Diagne update.
