After West Brom’s Darren Moore and Dwight Gayle made the double swoop for Manager of the Month and Player of the Month awards for September, fans have shown their pride on Twitter.
The Baggies went unbeaten in September in the Championship, as they rocketed to the top of the table. In that time Gayle- on loan from Newcastle- scored five goals for the team.
Moore took over at West Brom towards the end of last season, but inherited a club in a dire position. He had a great start with the club, even managing to win the Premier League Manager of the Month award for April, but couldn’t prevent his side being relegated. He has clearly taken that form into this new season.
West Brom face early season strugglers Reading at The Hawthorns this weekend, hoping to maintain their dominance towards the top of the table.
This is what the fans had to say:

Brilliant! Although, when we have manager awards we tend to go on a bad run. Hopefully not this time!
