West Bromwich Albion fans have been applauding Felipe Teixeira after the club’s official Twitter account shared a video of the Portuguese ace in action.
The now 40 year-old spent three years with the Baggies between 2007 and 2010, scoring five goals and providing six assists in 62 appearances. Something of a nomad, he has appeared for no less than 13 different teams throughout his career, and he has not yet officially retired despite his age.

The video shared by the club comes from 2007, when West Brom hammered Coventry 4-0 away from home. In that particular clash, Teixeira was in fantastic form, scoring twice and providing Jonathan Greening with an assist. Performances like that were irregular rather than the norm, but it seems he is still a popular figure with fans of the Hawthorns outfit.
