West Bromwich Albion were once again beaten this weekend, this time by Arsenal, and Sam Allardyce continues to be on the end of heavy criticism from the Baggies supporters.
His side were second best from the off against the Gunners, and they can hardly complain that the score was 4-0. If anything, it would have been more had it not been for Sam Johnstone between the sticks, who made an impressive eight saves. The Hawthorns outfit remain 19th in the table as a result, and they are still six points from safety.

After the match, Allardyce spoke to the club’s official website, and he said that his side must defend better. Clearly, this is true, but these comments did not go down well with the fans at all – they believed that this was nothing other than stating the obvious.
