West Ham: Fans applaud Aaron Cresswell during Fulham encounter

West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell was the talking point amongst some fans during his side’s Premier League tie away to Fulham on Saturday evening.

The 31-year-old made his 23rd league start of the 2020/21 campaign and has been in David Moyes’ starting line-up for every domestic encounter so far.

Cresswell illustrated why that is with his Craven Cottage outing, showcasing his stunning range of passing and some solid crosses into dangerous areas to help the visitors turn the screw.

Dubbed the “Cresswell revival” by one fan earlier in the season, the Hammers’ left-back has vastly improved after struggling for consistency over the years – and appeared to be on the decline following his knee injury in 2016.

With this in mind, supporters were thrilled with what they saw from Cresswell once again, with some suggesting that he is one of the best creative players in David Moyes’ side.
