West Ham United: Fans tear into Sebastien Haller after ’embarrassing’ first half miss against Man United

After West Ham managed to go in at half time 1-0 up from their encounter with Man United, following an impressive performance from usually criticised striker Sebastien Haller, plenty of Irons still saw fit to blast the club record signing after his ’embarrassing’ miss during the 45.

Haller, who had to start in place of the injured Michail Antonio this evening, put in a pretty hard-working shift up front alongside Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen in the first half.

However, when gifted the chance to make it 2-0 at one stage, the Ivory Coast international scuffed his moment – rounding Red Devils keeper Dean Henderson only to fatefully slip and spurn the golden opportunity.

Immediately following that moment, plenty of Hammers laid into the 26-year-old – labelling the forward as a ‘donkey’ and ‘absolutely useless’.

David Moyes could then only watch on in horror as his side lost control of the game in the second half, and you can find all of the best fan verdicts from Twitter down below.
