Which is exactly why our east London locals are now toasting a story from Sky Sports, one claiming that the Hammers are prepared to stand strong over the 26-year-old.
Such is his importance to Slaven Bilic’s team, the Irons are reportedly ready to offer him improved terms in order to ward off any interest in the versatile former Nottingham Forest ace.
He only penned a new four-year deal at the club in July, though it’s believed he could be in line for a new deal already should he continue his good form into the second half of the campaign.
Antonio has notched eight goals this season from a variety of positions and our local West Ham fans are desperately hoping they can keep a hold of him going forward.
