Flocking to Twitter, many West Ham United fans have erupted over an ExWHUemployee transfer update involving Bundesliga defensive duo Matthias Ginter and Niklas Sule.
As the Irons approach an all-important January transfer window, manager David Moyes has set his sights on the signing of an emergency centre-half to cope with serious injuries (The Daily Mail).
Both Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna are currently sidelined with the Scotsman having just Issa Diop and Craig Dawson to pick from, prompting him and transfer chief Rob Newman to scour for reinforcements.
According to club insider ExWHUemployee, West Ham’s search for a new defender could take them as far as the German top flight as he shares news on Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ginter and Bayern Munich’s Sule.
As per his information, the Irons are very keen on both men and it is believed that West Ham could even make a bid for the latter defender.

Given both Ginter and Sule are accomplished defenders, amassing 83 Germany international caps between them (Ginter, 46; Sule, 37), it’s little wonder West Ham fans are thrilled as their club become contenders.
The latter man has already been called ‘unbelievable’ by his manager Julian Nagelsmann whilst Ginter has even been likened to Sergio Ramos in the past by legendary midfielder Lothar Matthaus (Bundesliga).
