After promising young striker Mipo Odubeko posted a cryptic tease on Twitter over his comeback from injury, many West Ham fans flocked to his post in excitement over the ‘real deal‘ who could potentially fill the void left by absentee and crucial first team attacker Michail Antonio.
Antonio, recently ruled out through injury, will be unavailable for the Hammers’ home game against Fulham on Saturday – leaving manager David Moyes without his usual go-to forward option.

Odubeko, who signed for the academy from Man United a year ago, was tipped for an imminent first team call before his own fitness setback – but the player’s comeback tweet has motivated some supporters to get excited over a potential fresh option.
The 18-year-old was thought to be on the verge of a senior promotion for West Ham’s Carabao Cup games before injury struck, but with his return edging closer, many fans have been getting excited.
