After West Ham United settled for a 1-1 draw against ten-man Crystal Palace at the London Stadium on Wednesday evening, many Irons saw fit to lambast the performance of Issa Diop.
Diop, who lost Palace striker Christian Benteke for the Eagles’ only goal of the game, has attracted criticism from a section of Hammers following his return to the side – with Fabian Balbuena out due to a groin strain.

Following Benteke’s opening goal, David Moyes’ men pushed for an equaliser – with Jarrod Bowen forcing an outstretched save from Vicente Guaita before polarising forward Sebastien Haller buried an outrageous overhead kick to bring them level.
Despite Pablo Fornals largely being questioned due to his performance, with the Spaniard hauled off prematurely, these Irons also addressed their £22.5 million-rated defender – find all of their verdicts from Twitter down below.

I thought Issa Diop was terrible tonight. Whilst it could be down to lack of match sharpness, but his part in Benteke’s goal tonight is basic stuff in my opinion.
