West Ham United: Irons buzz as GSB eye Argentine striker Giovanni Simeone

Share

According to a report by reliable Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, West Ham United and GSB are eyeing Cagliari marksman Giovanni Simeone – and the club apparently want to sign him this month as the hunt for a striker continues to take shape.

The Irons are running out of time to get a deal done, with just under a fortnight left of the January transfer window, and West Ham’s owners are going to have to step up their pursuit if they wish to support David Moyes.

Now, Di Marzio has claimed that GSB may turn to the 25-year-old, son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, in an effort to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the campaign.
