West Ham United set to launch summer move for Chelsea man

The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for this season to end.

After a poor summer of business and difficulty making the transition into their new London Stadium, West Ham’s season has fizzled out into lower mid table mediocrity.

This was summed up perfectly in a bore draw with fellow mid table side Stoke City yesterday, leaving both sets of fans in the Transfer Tavern bored to tears.

West Ham need a striker because Jonathan Calleri is not up to scratch and Andy Carroll is seemingly always injured.

After failing to land Michy Batshuayi last summer and then again in January, the Hammers are reportedly lining up a third move for the Chelsea striker, according to The Express.

West Ham want to snap up the Belgium international on loan to end his nightmarish spell at Chelsea.

Playing second fiddle to Diego Costa all season, Batshuayi hasn’t exactly lit up the world when he has been given an opportunity and a loan stint away would be beneficial for all parties.

The 23-year-old has managed just 24 outings for the Premier League leaders this season after joining from Marseille last summer.

Our landlord thinks that Batshuayi could rediscover his form if he was given chances at West Ham.
