Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait to see their side get involved in the play-offs but first they have a big game against Fulham – another side in the top six.
It’s been another good season for the Owls with them getting into the top six – just as they did last season – with the aim that they go one better than finishing runners up in the play-off final.
A win over Fulham this weekend, then, would surely boost confidence and it’s certainly already at a high point thanks to the superb run of form the club is on at the moment.
For sure, then, Carlos Carvalhal has done a fine job and he was duly recognised for his efforts for April in being awarded the Manager of the Month in the Championship.
