Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been toasting a hero today as they look to get themselves back in the Premier League.
The Whites have had a very strong season under Garry Monk in the Championship this year and our landlord reckons they are one of the favourites to progress from the play-offs.
If they do make the top flight, then, it will mark the end of a serious hiatus away from the Premier League and our Whites will be hoping that on their return they will begin to start signing players of the calibre of the man whose birthday it is today.
Indeed, Lucas Radebe turns 48-years-old and, naturally, fans have been paying tribute to him on Twitter.
