It’s been a memorable afternoon down at Old Trafford as a whole host of former Manchester United stars took to the pitch for Michael Carrick’s testimonial game.
He might not have been renowned for bags of quality throughout his career but few Red Devils supporters can doubt the impact he’s had in the middle-of-the-park over the years.
The former England man scored a banging goal as the game ended in a 2-2 draw, with the likes of Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Jamie Carragher and Paul Scholes all returning to the pitch to take part.
But it was the actions of renowned funny man Patrice Evra who had every talking and this time, he was caught tying up former United forward Quentin Fortune up with rope on the side of the pitch.
It was all in very good nature but it got everyone inside Old Trafford smiling which at times this season, has been a real rarity.
He’s become more and more famous for his actions on social media over the past couple of years and it was hilarious to see him back on the pitch at his mischievous best.
And as you can imagine, lots of supporters both here in the pub and on social media had plenty to say about his actions.
So with that in mind, here’s the best of the fallout following Evra’s hilarious actions earlier today…
