It has been a disappointing day for the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern so far…
Whilst other sides, notably Tottenham, have been efficient in their quest to land some top talent, the Blues have – thus far- fallen by the wayside.
It’s unclear as to whether that’s down to poor timing or poor management, but there is no doubt about it – Chelsea are in a bad position as the transfer deadline edges closer.
However, there’s still more than a few hours to make things right, and the Chelsea fans on Twitter know exactly what they want their side to do.
There are a host of players that are still within a shout of moving, one of which is Riyad Mahrez. The Blues have, in fact, been linked with a move for the Algerian today – and it’s a deal that the fans on Twitter are desperate to see.
Clearly, supporters have looked beyond his poor form last term and recognised the incredible talent he displayed for the Foxes when they ran away with the Premier League title in 2016.
Indeed, there is no doubt about it – he’s the one player that fans want to see at Stamford Bridge more than any other…
