The Everton fans are still celebrating their successful summer of transfers, but now it’s time to talk about players who could leave the club.

Out of all the clubs in the Premier League, it is safe to say that Everton have had the busiest and most successful summer window.

Ronald Koeman clearly has his sights high for this season, having already brought in eleven new players.

Although the Dutch manager has conducted some brilliant business with transfers coming into the club, there are still a few players who would benefit from leaving Goodison Park.

Everton will need to balance the books out along with their squad after a busy summer.

Whether that would be on a permanent basis or as a part of a loan move, there are some players who most likely don’t have a future at the club.

With that being said, here are two Everton players who should spend next season on loan in the Championship.

Aaron Lennon

This isn’t a nice one to talk about but in May of this year, Aaron Lennon was detained under the mental health act.

Everton released a statement saying he was being cared for regarding a stress related illness.

This is only an assumption but a lack of first team football and getting to the age where his career may start winding down could have contributed to that.

Lennon is still a brilliant player at 30 and would bring a Championship side to the next level should he join on loan.

If he plays as well as he can do, that loan move could be made permanent too.

Leandro Rodriguez

Leandro Rodriguez has been a complete flop for Everton.

After signing for the Toffees this time two years ago for £500,000 the Uruguayan hasn’t been able to establish himself anywhere near the first team.

Even his loan spell at Belgian club Waasland-Beveren was cut short by the club after he failed to make a single appearance at the club.

A loan spell in the Championship could be a fresh start for the player and could said up a permanent move down the line.
