Now we’re into the international break, the Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are taking stock of their campaign so far. While it’s barely been a vintage year, life is pretty good amongst those propping up our bar.
Indeed, so much so, that our resident Reds have been taking a stroll down memory of late. With the club posting a video of Liverpool’s win over in Fulham over three years ago now, our local Kopites have been discussing just what a joy to watch that team were.
Any side with Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard in it is always likely to be a popular one amongst Liverpool supporters and, after posting a video of a great win at Anfield during their heyday, there’s been a love in on social media for them. On that day, the Uruguayan notched a hat-trick for the Reds.
