It will rightfully be Diogo Jota who grabs the headlines after the thriller that took place at Molineux earlier today, but one moment that simply cannot go un-talked about is Ruben Neves world-class assist for Jota’s second goal. The 21-year-old pulled off an incredible 50-yard ball over the top to Jota, amd his countryman didn’t disappoint with the finish.

When asking any Wolves fan who their main man is, the Molineux faithful will all come back with the same answer: Ruben Neves. The Portuguese midfielder is only just breaking through as a star of the future and if he keeps going on his current trajectory then he could easily be held in the highest esteem along with some of the best footballers on the planet in four or five years time.
Neves has lit up Molineux with some incredible goals in both the Championship and the Premier League. However, it’s not always about goals, as the midfield man has the ability to create, defend and score, and it was his creative efforts that had the Wolves fans purring today. More often than not the midfielder shines for Uno Espirito Santo’s side, and it’s fair to say that the hype is real with Neves.
