Our Nottingham Forest fans here in the Transfer Tavern are certainly hoping that their side is going to improve on last season and are cautiously optimistic about their chances of doing so.
Of course, it won’t take much to improve on 2016/17 for Forest but the men from the City Ground do still need to put the hard-work in to make sure a repeat does not happen.
With new owners and Mark Warburton in charge, though, Forest look set for more stable times and now the onus has to be on them to use that fact in a surge up the table.
And, after Jorge Grant signed a new deal, that stabilising process appears to be gaining traction.
Indeed, the player confirmed it himself on his Twitter account and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what was said to the young player:
Buzzing to sign a new 3 year contract with @NFFC Can’t wait for the new season to start and kick on!
