‘Woodward, do it’, ‘The guy is a monster’ - These Man Utd fans are calling for a major signing

Man Utd are a team that always looks to sign the best players, and the Old Trafford faithful on Twitter are calling for one of the best of all time to move to Old Trafford.

The footballing world has been alive with rumours over the last few days regarding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, his route to Juventus may not be clear, as according to the Sun, Man Utd are trying to work out a way in which they can rival the Italian giants for his signature. The club are said to be plotting a move for him, with the club viewing him as the sort of player that could finally bring the Premier League back to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo, of course, joined Man Utd a teenager and enjoyed a lot of success. However, since moving to La Liga he has gone to another level entirely, and it’s fair to say that he’s now one of, if not the best player in Europe.

Able to play across the attack, the Portuguese would certainly find a home at Old Trafford. The Red Devils weren’t as exciting as perhaps they should have been going forward last season, but the arrival of someone like him would flip that on its head.

Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo has been the topic of the day over on Twitter, and fans appear desperate for their club to sign him. Plenty of supporters have taken to the site to call for the attacker to come home.
