Whilst the Spurs fans in the Tavern are far from thrilled with this news, it would be a brilliant coup for the Anfield club to sign Son who can be used virtually anywhere across the club’s front line. Son’s ability to add goals from the wing has been pivotal for Mauricio Pochettino’s side over the last three seasons and if he were to bring that to Liverpool it would create serious selection problems for Klopp.
There are a few issues with this deal though. One being that no sane Tottenham fan would be okay with seeing Son sold to Liverpool and the other being that the Korean winger could have to give up two years of his career to complete mandatory military service for his country. The only way Son could worm his way out of having to join his country’s military is if can help South Korea win the Asia Cup next summer with his country.

@AlexHarvey7272 @alexoldham_94 @pipl93 to be fair I think he’d be a great signing for back up to the front three, can play in any of those positions as well

Be a good bench option. Maybe swap deal involving Lallana
