‘Would suit us perfectly’- Liverpool fans would like £28.8m-rated attacker at Anfield

It has been a very exciting season for the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern, but the summer transfer window could be even more so.

Of course, it’s going to be tough to top a trip to Kiev for the Champions League final, but given their success, this season, Jurgen Klopp’s side may be a more attractive option for potential transfer targets.

As a result, perhaps the Reds could look to target more established, world-renowned players, and one man that Liverpool fans would seemingly like to see at Anfield is Chelsea midfielder Willian, who is rated £28.8 million by Transfer Markt.

Willian has had a tough season at Stamford Bridge, with Antonio Conte clearly not a huge fan of the Brazilian, and that has led to a lack of consistency within the first team at the club.

That shouldn’t take away from his quality, though. He’s had a decent campaign, with 6 league goals, but Conte, for whatever reason, doesn’t seem to rate him particularly highly.

Perhaps, then, he could be open to the prospect of a move this summer, and Anfield would be a good destination. The Reds need further depth going forward, and the arrival of a player like Willian would certainly take some pressure off of Mohamed Salah.

At least, the Liverpool fans on Twitter certainly seem to think so, as you can see by their responses below, which have been posted over the last few days…
