Earlier today, it was announced that Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea’s impressive defender, had signed a new 3-and-a-half year deal with the club – and the Chelsea fans in attendance have spent the whole afternoon toasting to that news.
Since arriving at Chelsea in 2012, Azpilicueta has been one of the Premier League’s most consistent defenders – and despite switching across the defence on a near weekly basis, he has continued to impress regardless of his position.
A new deal for the defender, then, was expected – but now that the news has officially been confirmed on Chelsea’s official website, the Chelsea fans in attendance simply have not been able to hold back their excitement.
