The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are becoming very excitable this morning…
Over the last few hours, there has been only one name on the lips of Chelsea fans everywhere: Robert Lewandowski.
The Blues are said to have made an enquiry regarding a move for the Polish international, and unsurprisingly, the news has been received very positively in the Transfer Tavern.
Contextually, the deal makes sense, with Diego Costa looking likely to leave the club this summer. Lewandowski, meanwhile, is apparently unhappy at Bayern Munich, potentially leaving the door open for a move away.
Always a group of supporters to jump to conclusions, the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are now convinced that a deal will be coming to fruition, though the Blues on Twitter are remaining somewhat more realistic.
They recognise that any deal will be hard to come by, but still desperately want it to happen…
