The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to Jurgen Klopp’s latest injury update. The German gaffer explained that Ragnar Klavan and Nathaniel Clyne are both expected to miss the club’s meeting with Bournemouth tomorrow. Roberto Firmino felt discomfort in his neck earlier in the week but should be okay, whilst Emre Can needs more time. Fans can read more on the Liverpool website.

Whilst he is likely to be fine and will probably lead the line alongside Sadio Mane and Mo Salah tomorrow, the majority of concern from Liverpool fans came for their Brazilian forward, Bobby Firmino. Firmino plays an incredibly important role for the Anfield side, having a hand in 21 Premier League goals this season, scoring 14 and assisting seven. The 26-year-old is a huge miss when he’s unavailable and any injury concerns will need to be ironed out ASAP as far as the fans are concerned.
Our local Kopites will be hoping they can have a full squad available and injury free in the coming weeks as they face a huge task in the form of Roma in the Champions League semi-finals in just under two weeks time. Emre Can is unlikely to be available for either of the two legs against the Italian giants, but Clyne and Klavan should both be back in the squad by then and will provide a huge boost to Klopp.

All the focus should be on tomorrow’s fixture against Bournemouth, let’s make sure @22mosalah gets at least a brace to keep that gap between him and that goal thief Harry Kane.
