Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a good summer before coming back to league duties ahead of what they hope will be a promotion yielding 2017/18.
The Whites have enjoyed a positive, progressive campaign this season but it certainly is tinged with some disappointment as the club missed out on the play-off places.
Even so, the feel-good factor about the club cannot be denied and many are expecting a fruitful campaign next time out.
Certainly, Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post is expecting a busy summer from the club with him revealing as such during his final Inside Elland Road column of the season – as per his Twitter account.
Fans, then, were quick to react to the piece and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what was said:

@PhilHayYEP What would make more sense – spending millions on Elland Road or building a multi-purpose brand new stadium? Latter obviously more expensive

@PhilHayYEP Phil heard any murmurings of Qatar investment. Nixon is hinting at something surprising coming?

@PhilHayYEP Who negotiated the Pedraza loan with that option to buy, Phil? Did Monk have anything to do with that? I can’t imagine it in all honesty.
